To those neighbors who have subscribed to the Skyline Ranch Estates mail list, thank you for participating.
For those who might not have heard about the mail list (what mail list?), we’d like to briefly explain why a SRE mail list exists and how you can use it.
First, the mail list is intended as a shared, community resource. Any resident can ask questions of and/or receive answers from neighbors. There is no centralized information source, per se. We are the shared information resource.
To participate in the mail list, you simply have to sign up (subscribe). You can subscribe by sending email to
or write us at info@skylineranch.org, and we’ll sign you up.
After you subscribe, there is a single email address
to which you post messages. When you post a message, the email is approved by a list moderator and then, automatically distributed to everyone on the list.
Writing to a single address is a lot easier than copying a bunch of email addresses in every message. It’s a quick way to keep in touch, and it’s that simple.
For those of you who haven’t yet subscribed, we’d ask that you consider doing so. There are some situations – related to our water system, for example – that everyone should want to know about. In the event that you can’t be contacted by telephone, email is a good alternative.
The Skyline Ranch POA, WSC, and mail list moderator have created mail list message guidelines to help subscribers posting to the mail list. Please take a moment to read the guidelines.
